I finally get to photograph my little niece Aryana, visiting all the way from Australia. She is 5 months old and a beauty. Oh and super excited all the time ready for attention and gives you a beautiful smile as soon as you come close. She already has a favorite toy and favorite blanket. A very cooperative model is the dream of every photographer and Aryana is one such model already. She definitely has one career in the pocket. The entire process took about 2 hours with a few change of clothes and backgrounds. Here are some of my favorite images from the baby photoshoot. The shoot was pretty simple, 2 light setup, 175cm Elinchrom octa camera left as main light and a 30 degree grid on reflector camera right to hit the background. I used a bean bag with 2 blankets under the baby to make it smooth and silky soft. Precaution is necessary at all times, daddy was right next to Aryana, and even holding her from under the background in a couple of shots.
